Twomey’s were delighted to exhibit at the National Ploughing Championships for the first time ever in September!
Represented by Eileen, the Twomey’s stand was a hive of activity for 3 days in the Aldi tent. Delicious fresh samples of our Multiseed, Batch, Tart and Sponge were provided to thousands of passers by over the course of the 3 days with the Multiseed and the Sponge proving popular with those in attendance.
Eileen got the opportunity to meet with several famous faces throughout the 3 days including, Tadgh & Derry Fleming, Róisín Wiley, Mike Denver & Sile Seoige. On the final day, Twomey’s were part of a live cookery demonstration with delicious Ham & Cheese air fryer toasties being whipped up using Twomey’s White Batch by the talented Aldi chefs.
Twomey’s were also in attendance to watch the highly coveted National Brown Bread contest. Loretta McGuire from Co. Mayo won the contest with her delicious, traditional brown loaf which we must say tasted delicious!
A great 3 days were had and Twomey’s are already planning for next years exhibition!
